Thimphu Vertical Club - Bhutan
Stefan, Dilu, Arun and Robin are the core members of the Bhutanese rock climbing club. Every week-end climbing enthusiasts meet at the rock above the hospital to practice. They are good and they are fun.

Pilou Medical Center - Bhutan
Marianne's love for animals has benefited Thimphu street dogs for around a decade now. The sick and injured find a home in Marianne's house who will do all she can to save them. The last time I visited there were around 100 dogs and a dozen cats, 6 monkeys, and maybe a recovering pigeon or two.
Marianne's work is featured in a few online articles in the Moments of Joy Foundation the Honolulu Star Bulletin and Animal Sheltering.org among others.

Sircer Pasha Welfare Trust - Bangladesh
Tauhid and his family provide emergency medical responses to those in need in Bangladesh. In 2007 their main focus is on emergency medical assistance for flood relief in Bangladesh. The Welfare Trust has also satellite medical clinics in the char areas isolated by water; a clinic and pathology laboratory in the remote town of Sarishabari, Bangladesh; free education for the under 5s; sewing classes for local unemployed women.
